Florent Pagny: worried about a relapse, he is planning for the future

Seeing Florent Pagny glowing - which you can listen to on the French Mix By AllZic Radio web radio - warms the heart! At 63, the artist has come a long way after a fierce battle against cancer. But today, he is enjoying success after success, with his return to the stage and a notable presence on television.

Back on The Voice, he has reclaimed his iconic coach role. His team even clinched victory thanks to the group Il Cello. A triumphant return for one of the most beloved artists among the public, still as charismatic and genuine as ever.

And that's not all! A new album is already in the works. Titled "Grandeur Nature", this much-anticipated record will be released next September. As a sneak peek, a heart-wrenching single is already available: "T’aimer encore", a song written by his friend and collaborator Vianney. This is sure to delight long-time fans.

But the cherry on top is yet to come: Florent Pagny will go on tour in 2026. A true artistic rebirth for the performer of "Savoir aimer", who seems determined to passionately resume his career.

However, behind these smiles and this regained energy, the artist remains clear-headed. Since 2022, he has experienced two recurrences of his cancer, which leads him to remain extremely vigilant:

"Like everyone else who has the same crap as me, whatever it is, you are monitored for years. I am not fatalistic, I am clear-headed."

To prevent any unpleasant surprises, Florent Pagny remains under close medical supervision:

"Every three months, I have to get scans, stuff like that. That's how it is for everyone."

But fans can rest assured: the singer is indeed here, fighting and standing strong.

"Otherwise, I wouldn't be here."

A statement full of resilience that shows how Florent Pagny has managed to turn adversity into strength. And while the fear of a recurrence is always present, the artist has planned everything to remain master of his destiny.
