Soon a Netflix series for Madonna!

Madonna's fans (to be enjoyed without moderation on the Pop Queens by Allzic playlist) were a bit sad after the announcement of the cancellation of the biopic project, launched by the singer herself. A project that fell through, but that's okay: they will soon have something to console themselves with, as it has just been announced that the star will soon have a mini-series aired on Netflix!

It is the media Deadline that revealed the information: the 66-year-old singer has teamed up with director Shawn Levy, who was already set to produce the shelved biopic. Together, they are bringing to life a project that will highlight the legendary career of the American icon.

Another surprise: while Madonna announced the release of the second part of her album Confessions On a Dancefloor, this mini-series will complement the excitement surrounding her current events. But then, which period of her life will be addressed in this production? For now, very little information has leaked, but fans can expect a journey into the heart of pop culture history.

On the casting side, a persistent rumor has resurfaced: Julia Garner could portray the singer on screen. The actress revealed in the series Ozark had already been chosen for the lead role in the ultimately abandoned film. A choice that seems logical, given the resemblance and charisma.

As early as 2020, Madonna had expressed her desire to tell her story in a personal project: "I want to share the incredible journey that my life has been as an artist, as a musician and dancer: a human being trying to find a place in the world". A sincere statement that takes on full meaning today.

Good news for fans: exclusive information is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. In the meantime, one thing is certain: the legend Madonna is not done shining on our screens.
