Who better than Guy2Bezbar to announce this partnership that could elevate French rap to another dimension?

There are indeed two fields that have a real proximity in France: rap (discover the Allzic 100% French Rap playlist) and football. This is not only because most football players in France currently listen to a lot of rap, but also because, when we observe the origins of the main figures in these fields (footballers and rappers), it points in the same direction: that of working-class neighborhoods, the "large housing estates." However, this proximity has long been ignored, sometimes deliberately, by football authorities, who this week decided to finally take a step towards rap. Ligue 1 has just officially announced a partnership with the Flammes ceremony, a major first in France!

The first division of the French football championship, our national elite of the round ball, will indeed be the official partner of the Flammes 2025 ceremony, which will take place on May 13 at La Seine Musicale, and which will be open to the public for the first time. And who better to announce this partnership than... Guy2Bezbar! The rapper, currently everywhere since the success of "Monaco" this summer and his new album released a few weeks ago, almost had a brilliant career in football himself.

In the video, he explains what was stated above: the proximity between the world of football and French rap, whose stars all emerged from the city stadiums of our neighborhoods, with all these young people eager to shine and "create a feat." He is very well placed to speak on this, having experienced both worlds.

It seems that after years of being kept in the closet, French rap is finally starting to take the place it deserves in the media landscape.
