Louane: What do we know about this show on March 15 at the Stade de France?
Jeudi 13 Mars 2025
As Louane (listen to her on the Acoustic by Allzic playlist) will represent France at the Eurovision contest, with the final taking place in May 2025, we still do not know which song she will compete with. France is indeed one of the few countries, along with Georgia, that has not revealed its entry for the competition. But on March 15, Louane will take advantage of the halftime of the France-Scotland rugby match to unveil her song!
The director of entertainment and games at France Télévisions, Alexandra Redde-Amiel, was interviewed by 20 Minutes, and she took the opportunity to express her excitement about this upcoming major event.
This is a big challenge for everyone. I deeply hope that the French will be there for this moment that Louane has prepared with so much heart. [...] Never has the official announcement of a song, across all countries, had such an eventful dimension.
She also explained why Louane and the France Télévisions teams agreed on this specific date, during the rugby match between France and Scotland.
The antenna management spoke to us about the France - Scotland match and asked if we would be interested in thinking of something for halftime. That’s how it all started.
She also explains that rugby is quite important in Louane's life, as the young singer has a sister who was the vice-champion of France in this sport with her team. The director also gives a few hints about what will happen during this performance:
The staging has been designed for the venue, thought out to please the audience but also to ensure that the broadcast looks very beautiful.
But the goal is also to offer something completely different compared to what will happen on the night of Eurovision, since that is indeed the purpose of this song. We really hope that everything goes well for Louane, who had a very good idea to create the event around the reveal of her song!
