Gims, Youssoupha, Guy2Bezbar: French rap comes together for a charity concert for Congo
Jeudi 6 Mars 2025
The news is hardly cheerful at the moment, between the conflict that seems to be brewing with Russia and the ongoing massacres in Congo. The region is going through a period of instability that has lasted for several years, but which has worsened in recent months, with violent incursions by armed groups, and millions of victims. Naturally, these events have affected many people, especially French rappers, many of whom are from the region. So several big stars, such as Gims, Guy2Bezbar, Soolking, Youssoupha, and Gazo (find all these artists on the Rap FR playlist by Allzic) have decided to mobilize for this cause.
These are not the only solidarity initiatives put in place for Congo. Gradur also wants to raise awareness about his country of origin, through his 100% Congo project, the first tracks of which he unveiled a few weeks ago. But this time, we are talking about a big solidarity concert organized on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Accor Arena.

At this concert, you will find some very big names from the French rap game: Gims, Youssoupha, as previously mentioned, but also Guy2Bezbar, Gazo, and Soolking. The composer Angélique Kidjo will also be part of it. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Unicef, which will do what it can to help the people on the ground, even though the situation is already so dire that the mission proves complicated...
In any case, we are counting on your solidarity!
