David Guetta: his hit "I'm Good" continues to break records
Mercredi 5 Mars 2025
Even though he has collaborated with relatively few French singers in his tracks, France is obviously proud to have artists like David Guetta (check out the Dancefloor by Allzic playlist to enjoy his greatest hits) in its roster. The DJ is clearly one of the most appreciated in the world, consistently ranking among the top DJs nearly every year, often found in Ibiza, the European Mecca of electro music; in short, even at 57 years old, he’s still on fire. And it’s not about to stop, judging by the success of his hits like "I'm Good," which has just reached a significant milestone.
"I'm Good (Blue)": the track that takes David Guetta to new heights!
Released in the summer of 2022, "I'm Good (Blue)" is a duet with Bebe Rexha, which samples the very popular track "Blue" by Eiffel 65 released in 1999. From its release, it was a monumental hit: David Guetta's track quickly climbed to number one in no less than 21 countries, igniting passions and boosting streaming numbers. And today, thanks to this song, the DJ has just set a brand new historical record: the song has crossed the symbolic threshold of two billion streams, and this is just on Spotify. Across all platforms, the track is nearing four billion streams worldwide. This is a first for David, marking his biggest performance to date, far ahead of "Titanium" with 1.85 billion streams, or "Memories" at 1.1 billion.
Very pleased with this phenomenon, the DJ shared his joy on his social media.
"It's crazy to think that this journey started with a version that leaked online years after a demo I played at Ultra Miami [electronic music festival, ed.]. And look where we are now! Thank you for making this song what it is today" - David Guetta
A few months earlier, the artist had confided in the media Guettapen, explaining the origin of this track.
"Every time I find a new sound, I can't just make one track. I had very little sampling in my career. There I made "I'm Good (Blue)" which is one of the biggest successes of my life. So I'm driving it home! (...) I've learned to respect melody and there's nothing stronger than melody" - David Guetta
